I think that I can make a decision even with a credit car I also used a card
Cheesecakes are famous and there are several types. Personally, I like fruit roll cakes.
Very cute place! Good variety, and coffee comes with your order if you get a dessert. Smaller cafe, so they ask when you're done to make room for other customers. Desserts were delicious and indoor and outdoor seating is quite quaint and beautiful views. They are known for their cheesecakes, but not limited to just that. Other cakes and desserts available and several drink options! Really a place for everyone's tastes.
Omg so delicious cakes. Love this cosy place here. Staffs are real friendly. There are wide variety to choose from. The place is quite packed most of the the time with limited seating.
Nice cakes with complimentary coffees.
2 star instead of 1 star because cheesecake was not terrible, but customer service made it terrible because we were kicked out after eating our food.
Warming atmosphere inside with various kinds of cake. But in fact the cake was little hard and dried, it was not delicious as I expected. Also the coffee was quite bad.
Nice cheesecake, esp the burnt cheesecake.
We came across this place by accident and wanted to go inside to escape the rain. I love cheesecake and was really excited by the variety, but I left feeling disappointed. We shared an 800 yen banana cheesecake and it was okay but nothing special. Luckily it wasn't busy and we didn't have any service issues.
Rich texture cake with good views outside,Comes with a cup of instant coffee which taste soso.I ordered the NO.1 cake, it's a bit more sour.NO.2 is lighter. If you want to share one cake with friends just to try, you need to ask for take away, which i will recommend.
Try the number 1 cheesecake and the unbaked, absolutely delicious
Free coffee with any cheese cake offer attracted us to this spot. It was crowded inside so we sat outside. It was nice, we like the winter cold cool weather in the afternoon around 3pm. Sat there and watch people and the slow world go by. After a while, other customers followed to sit outside as well.
A cute places serving all the different kinds of cheese cake. If you choose to sit inside the cafe, everyone has to order as least a cake. But if not, it’s still okay to share cakes between 2 person if you sit on the tables prepared outside the cafe.
One of the best cheesecake I have every eaten! Bought a while cake and ate as tea break and dessert in hotel room for 2 days.
Little cheese cake coffee shop with great taste. You can also park in front of the shop
Service wasn't bad for me but as a cake and cheese lover, cakes were not really so impressive or extraordinary.Pretty expensive so it's 3 stars for me.I thought they tasted like something i could buy from the grocery.
Great selection of cheesecakes. You get a free cup of coffee when you order a cheesecake. Very good cheesecakes. Tiramisu is also good. This place is almost always packed, very popular stop for tourists. Reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. In the winter when it's cold definitely recommended to stop by, warm up with a hot cup of coffee and load up on yummy carbs before heading back out into the cold.
No doubt this place offers the best cheesecake you can find in Kawaguchiko. The selection of the products is rich. Their cheesecake taste very good. The staff are friendly. They offer complimentary hot coffee with purchase of their cheesecake which is a plus point for coffee drinker like me. Do note to purchase the item first before you find a seat.
Very rude and unfriendly clerk. Least polite Japanese I have ever found.
I don't recommend this place. Unfortunately some of the waitresses are not welcoming foreigners. They will push you to finish in urgency your cake and drink
This is my second time to visit, this shop is the most BAD manners and attitude in Fuji kawaguchiko. I will never walk inside again.
Great cakes. So many different delicious cakes. If you order one cake they give a very good caffe for free. ONLY 4 YEN. Friendly staff. Amazing place for a quick stop. If you are there, you need to try the delicious cakes.
Free black coffee with any purchase of cheese cake and eat in their cafe. Cakes for me are just Soso. We tried the no1 and no2 selection and also the chocolate almond
The worst and most impolite store I have ever been over my last 50+ trips in Japan. Our group had five in total. We walked in the store and searched for seats. The waitress loudly told us we had to order here to have a seat the moment we touched the chairs, as if we were going to occupy the seats without ordering anything. Told her we were going to order and checked the menu. Again, she repeated each of us has to order a cake to have the seats while checking the menu (our plan was to order a cake and a cup of coffee for each of us). We ordered one by one, and she impatiently repeated again more cakes needs to bee ordered while two of us were checking which cakes to order. After finishing ordering, she mistakenly pointed the lady behind us as one of our group and insisted us order one more cake. She ignored our explanation not until the lady told her she was not one of us. The whole experience was insulting and I strongly recommend you not to shop at the store.
Nice place shame of service, the lady from the counter move my table and chairs because "I wasn't ordering" I told her that my family was ordering and she just shouted me "go to order". (Terrible service)
Provide great cheese taste in kawaguchiko, If you pass through this store, you should try one of the cheese cakes since they provide so many variants
Service here is not the best in Kawaguchiko. The staff here seems to be very strict with their rules of the cafe. Perhaps they have come across too many demanding customers, or have become jaded in their work. That being said, the cheesecakes here are gorgeous. You must try their Number 1 cheesecake, and the Raw Peach custard cake. Those were so good... Eat it and become a new human. Take note that sitting spaces are limited and small, so the staff will insist that each person sitting must order their own cake. Sounds reasonable to me.
Slightly expensive, but you get free coffe if you eat the cake there:) and the cake I tried at least (mini cheesecake?) was well worth the money!
Cake is very good, but service was bad. I bought one cake to share with my wife and they did not allowed we both eat in the shop because we bought “only one cake†and should have buy “one per personâ€. Disgusting... and the store was empty!! Not worth to go, it was a very embarrassing situation.
Their rude and unpolite attitude don't compensate for their cheesecakes, which are small portioned and expensive. You can get way better cheesecake in almost every part of Japan (one tiny portion of their sour cream cheesecake is 500yen, a full Rikuro's cheesecake is around 750yen.....), without getting the awful customer service you have here. Tldr; not worth it.
Fantastic cheesecake! Get a slice and enjoy as it's complemented with coffee
Cake has quality. But you need to buy a slice of cake for a seat. You don’t want to be here when it is crowded.
Good selection of cakes. Read reviews saying they are rude, I think they’re fine, their rule of per cake per person is already stated in fine print :) both of us definitely can finish 2 cheesecakes ourselves as it’s pretty good.
Great cake! Cake + Coffee is about 450 yen with tax.
Terrible service,we already told the waitress we r five people but your waitress still insist we r six people .
Great experience. Everyone was so kind. Enjoyed conversation with them.Ordered six cakes and all of them were so nice. They have many kinds of cheesecakes so you can enjoy the differences. They’re all amazing. Highly recommended : )
Good to taste and take a break here. You can order the cakes with free coffee.
Nice Cheese Cake with complimentary coffee with ever cheese cake ordered.
Passed by this cake shop and decided to give it a try.No. 1 Fromage cake sold out so we bought the No. 2 and a chocolate cake. ¥400 each.If you are in the area and crave for cheesecake, this is a good choice. Otherwise it is not a loss to miss it.
They serve some good cheesecake. They do provide free coffee for dine-in customer for each cheesecake. Free coffee is really watered down. They do have 1 cheese cake per dine-in customer policy, cant blame them as the shop is kinda small. Would recommend to give it a try!
Rude staff and poor service. Very average cheesecake.
There were tons of tourists. You can't get coffee here unless you buy a slice of fresh cheesecake and eat in, then you get a coffee for free. Space is pretty tight so they have signs that say each person sitting at the tables need to get a cheesecake slice, which is quite rigid. Service is not the best.Cheesecake was just decent.#localguides
Very tasty cheese cake. Great presentation, very affordable. The New York Cheesecake was perfect.
Came here with my mother and she can't stop talking about how amazing the apple pie was! The ladies at the counter were very sweet, and the cafe itself is super cosy. Cakes were really really good. Thank you so much.
Cake was average. Only the "best" in town because there no other cake shop in town. Staff extremely rude and pushed us out of the store once we finished food within 5 minutes.
The Cheesecake Garden is a small coffee and dessert shop on the Main Street in Kawaguchiko. It is fairly small so the seating is quite limited but they get a lot of tourist traffic and sell a lot of cheesecakes from what it looks like. The cheesecakes look good but are a little bit pricey and expensive for what you get. The Cheesecake Garden is a decent dessert and calf coffee shop but you might find others that are better in the area
Cleric is pretty rude and impolite
Nice cheesecake, but the coffee was kinda weak. The place was packed with people, so it was hard to get the seat inside, but the outside seating was nice
Famous cheesecake shop near the peak cable car
Went in and waited my turn in line, when I got to the front the lady on cash asked me to move out of the way to help the Japanese clients behind me... talk about racism. Been all over Japan and this is the only place I was treated like this.
Honestly a must go when you’re going to Lake Kawaguchiko! It’s an amazing place to go to right after you’ve explored what many Fuji has to offer. The no 1 kanjuku hard cheesecake is the most creamy, fluffy and most delicate cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life. My partner and I went twice during our trip in mt Fuji! It’s soooooo amazing! Definitely a must try! Staff are very friendly! Every purchase you order and eat in, you have complimentary coffee! their no. 1 cheesecake is like no other! Honestly hands down one of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!!
Nice shop with an amazingly delicious white peach ice cream for ¥400! I never seen it before, so I had to try it and not only tastes awesome but also has a great aroma. I actually ended up buying a second one, which I very rarely do.I didn't try any cheese cake, but I can certainly recommend this place for quality ice cream lovers!
